Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Bright Path PD designed for?

Bright Path PD is for all educators! We believe PD should be accessible, affordable, relevant, and in alignment with state requirements for license renewal. Our on-demand and all-access courses are designed for anyone looking to grow their practice or renew their license.

What types of professional development do you offer?

Bright Path PD offers engaging on-demand courses (check out our All Access Pass), as well as in-person, hybrid, and professional development workshops on topics such as multilingual learning, classroom management, differentiated instruction, literacy support, supporting neurodiverse learners, social-emotional learning, and technology integration. Workshops are designed to be practical, interactive, and immediately useful for educators.

Does your organization meet the requirements for professional development for the Colorado Department of Education?

Yes. CDE does not pre-approve CEUs, training or professional development workshops, conferences or in-services. From the CDE website, “There is such a wide variety of professional development that is supportive of our teachers that we simply find it impossible to approve all of it. We leave it very much to the individual educator to know what is best for them and upon submission of the renewal the educator must clearly indicate how the professional development meets their specific endorsement areas and what educational standards it addresses. Upon evaluation if there appears to be a mismatch between professional development activities and an educator's needs, a formal audit will be conducted.” For those enrolled in our courses, you will be provided a certificate of completion, as required by CDE, with the following information: applicant’s name; date of workshop; conference or in-service; name of workshop, conference or in-service; contact/clock hours earned; providing organizations logo; representative’s signature. In addition, all participants receive a syllabus to accompany the training for auditing purposes (if needed). What are the on-demand courses?

Who should take the on-demand courses?

Our courses are designed for teachers, homeschool educators, instructional staff, and school leaders who want flexible professional learning opportunities that fit their schedules.

How long do on-demand courses take to complete?

Most Bright Path PD on-demand courses are designed to be completed in short, flexible modules that educators can work through at their own pace. Course length varies depending on the topic, but most can be completed within a few hours to several weeks depending on the participant’s schedule.

How do I receive a certificate for completing a course or training?

All participants receive a signed certificate of completion after finishing a Bright Path PD course, workshop, or professional learning session. For educators enrolled in year-long programs or course series, a formal transcript of completed coursework is provided at the end of the program.

Do your courses qualify for professional learning hours?

Many educators use Bright Path PD courses to document professional learning hours for licensing renewal, though specific requirements vary by state and district. Participants receive certificates that can be submitted to their licensing authority when applicable.

How many educators can attend in-person or hybrid workshops?

Our workshops are designed to support individual educators, small teams, or entire teaching staffs. Each session allows unlimited educators to attend, making it easy for schools and programs to include their full team.

Do you customize professional development for schools or programs?

What results do schools see after participating in professional learning?

Educators often report increased confidence in supporting diverse learners, improved classroom management strategies, stronger lesson design, and more inclusive classroom environments. Bright Path PD focuses on practical strategies teachers can implement immediately.

How far in advance should we book professional development?

Many schools schedule professional development one to three months in advance, particularly for staff training days or professional learning series. Early scheduling helps ensure availability and allows time to customize sessions.
