About

Bright Path PD is a disruptive approach to educator professional learning.

Where old models relied on expensive, pay-per-course models, we’ve build something different: one pass, one year, unlimited access to high-quality, practical learning—all at one low, fixed price.

No gimmicks. No renewals. No surprise “I forgot to cancel my membership” kind of day.

We specialize in helping educators strengthen their practice and better support students through engaging workshops, targeted PD, and coaching for K–12 schools, homeschool programs, micro-schools, and flexible learning environments.

Prefer flexibility? We offer on-demand courses tailored to individual or school needs—at a price that finally makes sense.

Welcome. I’m Jenny.

I’m a former school leader, teacher, and proud mom of three with more than 20 years in education—and I’ve spent most of that time watching professional development miss the mark. Too expensive. Too theoretical. Too hard to access when educators actually need it.

So I built something different.

I founded Bright Path PD to disrupt the status quo of professional learning for educators. No more digging through district websites. No more paying hundreds (or thousands) for one-off courses or college credits that don’t connect to your daily practice or don’t meet state renewal requirements. And, if you’re anything like me, you’re thinking about license renewal a year before it is due… Enter: the “All Access Pass.” One pass, one year, unlimited access to high-quality professional development—all at one affordable, fixed price. Procrastination and cramming are perfectly acceptable here!

For educators who still prefer one-off courses, we offer on-demand, pay-per-course options at one-third of the cost of our competitors—because access should never be out of reach for educators who do so much for so little.

Let’s create a bright path forward for your classroom, your community, and your future.

Jenny Johnson, Ed.D.- “Dr. J!”

Dr. J has spent the last 20 years in K-12 education as a teacher, coordinator, dean of instruction, assistant principal, director, and researcher in four of Colorado’s largest school districts. She understands that the one-size-fits-all approach of educator learning models is outdated, compliance-driven, and expensive. Today’s teachers need access to on-demand, relevant, ready-to-implement learning models. Dr. J strives to meet the needs of teachers by implementing research-based learning structures, wearing her “teacher hat” first, getting the conceptual down to the practical, and removing barriers to access.

Dr. J is a proud graduate of The University of Michigan (B.A., Spanish, History), Colorado State University (M.Ed, Educational Leadership and Human Resource Studies), and The University of Colorado Denver (Ed.D. Professional Learning and Technology). In her free time, Dr. J enjoys spending time with her three children and seeing how many miles she can accumulate running around Denver’s parks and foothills.
